our new EP last week and we'll be mixing it at the

6.6.2005 - Here's the news you've all been waiting for... we're going to the studio again after almost two years!! We'll be recording June 7-9 at Robert Lang Studios in Seattle. Wish us luck and be on the lookout for a new EP this summer!

4.24.2005 - It's time for another A.O.K. news update! We recently had some press in a local print magazine in Seattle called Tablet. You can check out the article online by clicking here, or grab a copy if you're in the Seattle area and turn to page 24.
We're gonna be doing some recording in May, so keep an eye out for some new songs and hopefully a new EP if we can get enough recorded! We'll keep you updated...

4.2.2005 - Thanks so much to the Stanwood Hotel and Tavern and all of you who came out last night!! We had an amazing time! We also want to thank Los Burbanks for being so cool and for putting on a rad show! I hope we get a chance to play with you guys again soon, you rocked!

In other news... We are trying to get on the local stage at this year's Seattle Warped Tour date. There is a website this year and judges will be choosing 4 bands for each venue. A large part of what the judges will be looking at is how much activity the band has received on the battle of the bands website (song plays, page hits, ect.). So we need as many people as possible to help us out by visiting the site and listening to a song! If you have a second and are willing to help us out we would be extremely grateful!! 3.10.2005 - Well, hello there! I can't believe it's been almost a month since we updated the news! I guess we've been busy. First off, we want to thank everyone who came out to our two shows this week, you guys are awesome!! We also want to thank The Upskirts and Everything in Ruins for being so cool. You guys totally rock and we can't wait to play with you again! We are trying to play more all-ages stuff, so hopefully all of you who are under 21 will be able to make it to a show!! We have a little break in the show action, so we're going to try to have some more new songs at our next show.
Tired of reading yet?? Well, there's more to talk about! We had the good fortune of getting our song Caffeine played on a national radio show called 'The Alan Kabel Show.' It was for a segment they have titled 'Moment of Greatness' where they choose an independent artist/band and feature their song on the radio! We'll also have a bio on their website for about a week! You can check that out at http://www.radioalan.com. We also have a clip from the show in mp3 format so you can hear the magic for yourselves! Click here to listen to it. Now for one last thing, I promise! Caffeine was also chosen to be on an offroading DVD done by Donkey Worx Productions! They even put the song on the teaser for the DVD! 10.4.2004 - Some good news and some bad news today. Bad news first, we are now officially looking for a drummer. We had a prospect but it didn't work out. So if you or anyone you know is a drummer that wants to play the punk rock please contact us! The good news is we are still playing the show at Graceland on the 10th and will also be playing one more show on the 23rd at the Lobo. Jason has graciously agreed to play these last two shows with us, so a big thank you to him!
9.14.2004 - We are playing a show this Saturday in Ellensburg, WA at Grant's pizza. So all you in eastern washington better come out and see us! Check the shows page for all the info.
9.8.2004 - We wanted to let everyone know that the September 24th show will be Jason's last show with the band. He's going to be going back to school as well as working and simply won't have time to continue with us. We wish him all the best in his new ventures! We hope to see everyone out on the 24th to see Jason rip it up on drums one last time!
9.7.2004 - The show at Lila's got cancelled because they are shutting down! We are still playing in Kirkland on the 24th though so please everyone come out and enjoy the festivities! Some really cool stuff going on lately. First off the 'Fight or Flight EP'is now available at shows so pull yourself away from the couch and come get one. We Drove out to Ellensburg amidst the rain to play on the edge of a cliff and be on a TV show called Ellensburg Extreme which will air on their website May 28th 2004. www.ellensburgextreme.com for those not living in the public access coverage area. I can't even begin to explain what an awesome experience that was and how psyched we were to have gotten the chance to do something like that. Check out the MEDIA link for some new pictures. As for the month of June, we will temporarily be out of comission as Josh, James and Aaron will be in Europe. But come July Aces Over Kings will be back full speed ahead. Not much going on at the moment. Working on new songs, waiting for Sony records to call back. Frosty got his nappy hair cut. Polishing up the new hit single "Bottle" that's going to drop your jaws. Working on getting some merchandise together. That's all the news that's worth printing, till next time. Maybe we'll have something interesting to say. Bye.
